Supplier standards

These standards apply to every listing on Host Desk, paid or unpaid.

Who can be listed

• The business operates on the Gold Coast and services short-stay or holiday rental properties.
• The business is contactable and has confirmed the details we publish.
• The business holds any licence or registration its trade legally requires.

What we ask every supplier

• Which services you actually provide, in plain terms.
• The suburbs and areas you have confirmed you service.
• Your operating hours, and whether you work weekends, public holidays or after hours.
• Whether you can support same-day turnovers, and any minimum portfolio requirements.
• Your insurance position and licence details where relevant.

What Host Desk will not publish

• Invented reviews, ratings or testimonials.
• Pricing we have not been given directly by the supplier.
• Licence or insurance claims we cannot attribute to the supplier.
• Response-time guarantees. Availability is always confirmed with the supplier.

Grounds for removal

• Information found to be materially inaccurate and not corrected.
• Repeated failure to respond to hosts who contacted the business through the directory.
• Conduct that puts a host, guest or property at risk.
• Requesting removal — any supplier can ask to be delisted.
